every.Word Poetry Presents: Monday Open Mic in collaboration with VORTEX Voices

Time: Show 8:00-10:00PM | Bar Opens at 5PM | Poets & Musicians Check-In 7:30PM

Location: The VORTEX'S Outdoor Stage or inside The Butterfly Bar (2307 Manor Rd.)

Parking: Free and open to The VORTEX public, early arrival encouraged.

Join us for an evening of spoken word, poetry, and storytelling at every.Word Poetry's Open Mic Night, brought to you in collaboration with VORTEX Voices! Whether you're a seasoned poet, an aspiring writer, or a passionate listener, we invite you to take part in our community. Share your original work or simply sit back and take it all in. Before, during, and after the show, hang out at The Butterfly Bar and grab a bite to eat at Patrizi's all on the VORTEX compound.

Note: The open mic is primarily held on the outdoor stage, however in unpleasant weather, i.e. weather below 65 degrees or rain, it will be held inside The Butterfly Bar or in the Eloise Stage. In cases of unsafe road conditions, it will be canceled.

How to Participate:

Depending on planned programming, we will accept 15-20 poet & musician sign-ups.

• 7 Poet Sign-Up tickets are available online.
• 3 Musician Sign-Up tickets are avaiable online.
• The remainder of the sign-ups will be available day of at the stage, prioritizing poets.
• Poets & Musicians must check-in at the stage by 7:30pm to gurantee your spot on the list.
• By participating on stage, you consent to every.Word Poetry, The Butterfly Bar, and The VORTEX to share and use audio, video, and/or pictures of your performance on every.Word Poetry's, The Butterfly Bar's, The VORTEX's social media, website, inside the bar, and for grant-writing purposes. You also understand you are prohibited from sharing highly offensive and/or discrimantory works on stage.
